Trading on the local market was very slow on Friday, with only US$4.3M of total turnover – the UX index managed a meagre gain of 0.8% to close at 2061.57; Most active names were Centerenergo (CEEN UK) up 0.8% to UAH 14.96 on US$545k volume, Unicredit/Ukrsotsbank (USCB UK) gained 1.35% to UAH 0.5706 on US$473k and Raffeissen Bank Aval (BAVL UK) closed down 0.45% to UAH 0.4385 on US$381k; Noteworthy outperformers were Zakhidenergo (ZAEN UK) rising 2.4%, Zaporishstal (ZPST UK) rising 8.4% and Khartsyzsky Tube (HRTR UK) rising 5.4%...all on light volumes; On the week, despite slow summer volumes, the UX index gained 6.8%.

 

Trading on London yesterday: Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) was basically flat at GBp 274.6 on 1.1M shares; Oil & gas names: Regal Petroleum (RPT LN) down 2.8% to GBp 42.5 on 1.9M shares, Cadogan Petroleum (CAD LN) gained 1.3% to GBp 19.25 on 2.5M shares, JKX Oil & Gas (JKX LN) gained 1.9% to GBp 254.7 on 448k shares; Agriculture: Landkom (LKI LN) traded flat at GBp 6.38 for the 3rd day in a row on 50k shares and MHP (MHPC LI) gained 1.1% to $13.40 on 182k shares.  On Warsaw: Kernel (KER PW) was flat at PLN 63 on 65k shares and Astarta (AST PW) down 0.5% to PLN 58 on 3k shares.
